Cruiseships are arguably the most high-profile and prestigious vessels on which a seafarer can work, with some of the best onboard crew accommodation in the industry – at least for senior personnel.

Nautilus members work on cruiseships all around the world, and it is common to find concentrations of British or Dutch officers on particular vessels. The personnel most likely to be Nautilus members onboard a cruiseship are shipmasters, ship’s officers (navigation, engineering and electro-technical), senior hotel staff, medical staff and specialist personnel such as safety, security, environmental and ventilation officers.
