Salary: £59,318

Please note: The advertised salary is inclusive of the base salary of £47,318 plus the full allowance of £12,000 which will be offered after training has been completed. The starting salary for this role will be £45,318 which will rise to £47,318 after training. There will be £3,500 allowance during the initial training, allowances increase to £12,000 in total after training (which will be no less than 12 months. Allowances and salary will be pro-rata for part time staff.

No two days are the same for our Marine Surveyors. You could be inspecting a ship in Hull ensuring its meeting UK and International Regulations one day, working from home the next, and assessing oral examinations for seafarers the day after.

The surveyor training will be provided as part of marine surveyor development scheme – which includes several courses and on the job training, delivered by experienced surveyors within your first 12 months in the role.
