Nautilus International has been selected as a finalist in the Silver category of the Investors in People Awards 2021 (IIP).
In a speech delivered to Nautilus staff across the UK, Netherlands and Switzerland, general secretary Mark Dickinson said: 'Reaching Silver means that the right principles are in place across our Union, but more than that, it means people and leaders within our organisation are taking active steps to ensure that there is real consistency in our approach, and everyone is feeling the effects. It is a clear sign that we care, and we put our people at the forefront of everything we do.'
Only 20% of the organisations assessed by the IIP achieve Silver recognition. Alongside this, Nautilus has also been shortlisted for a further IIP Award, as one of the Top Ten Silver IIP employers in the UK.
To reach the Silver level of the programme, the Union was assessed on how staff feel about the leadership, how high performance is rewarded, and how the Union handles change.
Nautilus is into the next IIP Assessment phase working towards 2024: 'This time we are going for Gold. I very much look forward to working with all of you to achieve this goal and would welcome your thoughts and input in how we can continue our success,' said Mr Dickinson.
The winners of the awards will be announced on the evening of the 23 November.
