Nautilus meets representatives of Stena Line Pte Ltd to review pay scales/rank structure
21 March 2025

On Thursday 13 March 2025, Nautilus head of industrial Mick Smyth and liaison officers Gareth Battersea, John Mallalue and Russell Marshall visited Stena Line’s offices at Skypark, Glasgow to review the pay scales/rank structure for all officer positions at the company.
During the discussion, the company was represented by industrial relations manager Anthony Lawless and fleet crewing manager Emma Kane.
‘At the meeting we reviewed the document which provides the pay scales/rank structure for all officer positions covered by our CBA and removed unnecessary wording, which was antiquated. The document is now clear, concise, and fit for purpose,’ Mr Smyth said.
Following a vote in which members rejected the company’s pay offer for 2025, Nautilus and senior management have agreed to meeting again at the company offices in London on Monday 7 April 2025. Members will be updated via further Bulletin after this dispute avoidance meeting.
