The Professional and Technical Forum deals with a wide range of technical, safety, welfare and other professional topics of relevance to all members, including training and certification.
At this session of the P&T Forum, we’ll be looking at the topic of maritime security with a particular focus on the current situation in the Straits of Hormuz and Persian Gulf. We will also provide an overview of the work that the Union carries out to ensure that seafarers are properly represented in discussions concerning maritime security matters including agreements on war-like and high risk areas.
In addition, there will be an open discussion where members are encouraged to raise and share issues of particular interest to them, whether related to health. (It would be helpful if topics could be notified in advance by emailing: PTechnical@Nautilusint.org).
The meeting will be held online via Microsoft Teams. Members are sent a registration link, and after they register they then will be sent a joining link.
All full members of the Union are welcome to attend (UK, NL and CH).
