Written by experienced nautical tutor BJ Wardle, the books contain exercises to work through and self-assessment questions and answers to help students prepare for their exams.

Management Level Stability covers all learning outcomes regarding stability contained in the 2014 editions of:
• IMO Model Course 7.01: master and chief mate
• IMO model course 7.02: chief engineer officer and second engineer officer

The books have a clear layout in A4-size hardback format, with plentiful colour diagrams and a thorough index. The author's son, Captain DW Wardle, is also credited for his contribution.
