Nautilus membership and participation reinforced in Netherlands during corona crisis

There has been a clear upward trend in Nautilus membership in the Netherlands from the beginning of this year.
On the one hand this is due to the hard work of colleagues who took part in a special promotion, where Dutch members were asked to recruit new members.
But the main reason is that all the uncertainties of the Covid-19 pandemic has encouraged a lot of new members to join.
New joiners are hearing positive stories about individual services provided by the Union as well as collective negotiations on new labor agreements and assistance with planned redundancies.
Nautilus Netherlands members (kaderleden/lay reps) have also become more involved with Union campaigns, such as challenging a leave-grab by Dutch shipowners during the Coronavirus lockdown.
