Nautilus International head of organising Garry Elliott, and head of yacht sector Derek Byrne will attend the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) in September to meet with members, coronavirus travel restrictions permitting.
After being cancelled in 2020, organisers Informa promise that this time the event will go ahead during the 30th anniversary of the show.
The event is due to be held from 22-25 September 2021 with 60 superyachts expected to be in attendance and 40 new yacht launches.
An anti-Covid sanitary protocol will be in place for the duration, with face masks compulsory. The show will also be adhering to the health measures put in place by the Principality's government including social distancing measures and monitoring of covid symptoms in attendees.
Mr Byrne said: 'After a year's break, I am looking forward to meeting our members at Monaco face-to-face – and getting to know potential members too – in a Covid-secure setting.
'The restarting of yacht shows comes at an exciting time for the sector. Superyacht sales and chartering has grown during the pandemic, which is very welcome; it makes Union attendance at events like this even more important; new owners need to be informed about the importance of treating their crew with the respect they deserve, and more crew will benefit from the services and aid that Nautilus can provide.'
