Nautilus International trustee director Henk Lafèbre has been awarded an honorary Nautilus membership for his invaluable contribution to the Union.
In 2009, Mr Lafèbre became a Nautilus Trustee upon the creation of Nautilus International. He undertook the role of Chair of Trustees in 2017. He is now stepping down from his role after 12 years, with the November 2021 council meeting being his last.
Mr Lafèbre has made an invaluable contribution to Nautilus through careful oversight of the Union's activities, by sharing his deep understanding of finance and organisational matters. It is this contribution that has led Council to approve the nomination for Mr Lafèbre's honorary membership.
Honorary membership is rarely granted, with only 13 awards given since 1960. Council grants this to individuals who have rendered outstanding service in the furthering of the interests of the Union or its members.
