New superyacht crew placement partner offers trauma resilience coaching

Nautilus has again expanded its network of strategic partners in the superyacht sector – this time to include a MCA certified yacht crew placement agency, Insignia Crew, which specialises in trauma resilience.

Many of the crew Insignia place are ex-military candidates seeking to move to the commercial sector. Crew have backgrounds in the UK Royal Navy, Royal Marines and the wider British Armed Forces.

In common with the Union's other 17 strategic partnerships, the new partner will recommend Nautilus membership to the individual officers, crew and shore-based workers who use its services.

Nautilus strategic organiser Rachel Lynch said the Union welcomed the new partnership and the company's 'commitment to the Union's values of professionalism, safety and welfare of maritime professionals working at sea and ashore across the maritime industry'.

Insignia recently launched a new crew resilience training programme, a proactive programme aimed at all crew at every level, dealing with the physical and mental wellbeing of crew at sea, especially in the aftermath of a trauma onboard.
