Nautilus members are encouraged to share their views and connect with like-minded colleagues at Maritime UK's upcoming cross-industry diversity network meetings for 2023.
A great deal of useful work on diversity and inclusion in shipping is being carried out by the industry body – of which Nautilus is a highly active member.
Union officials play leading roles in many Maritime UK diversity networks, and Nautilus is encouraging members to make their voices heard at these pan-industry events as well.
As with the Nautilus Equality and Diversity Forum, the general aim of these groups is to break down barriers to careers in maritime and help maritime professionals connect with like-minded colleagues in a range of sectors.

Women in Maritime Network
Sign up for the first Women in Maritime network meeting for 2023 on Tuesday 21 February 2023 from 10:30hrs to 12:3. A hybrid in person and online meeting is likely to follow on International Women's Day, 8 March 2023.
Pride in Maritime Day 2023 Industry Roundtable and Network
Join Pride in Maritime Day at the conclusion of LGBT+ History Month on Tuesday 28 February 2023 from 11:00hrs to 13:00hrs in London. This will be a hybrid in person and online meeting.
Ethnicity in Maritime Network
Sign up for the first Ethnicity in Maritime Network of 2023 on Wednesday 1 March at 10:00hrs to 12:00hrs in London. Also a hybrid in person and online meeting.
